Ethos United not quite on the ball.

Ethos United participated in three heated rounds of the Mick George tournament at the Cambs Glass Stadium.

On Friday 5th May, Mick George invited Ethos United to compete in a 6-a-side football tournament, hosted by Cambridge United at the Cambs Glass Stadium. Last year’s champions, Mick George, were determined to defend their title and take home the sought-after Mick George cup.

In the first round, Ethos United played extremely well with excellent defending and managed to hold off the competition, inevitably winning the first round. Unfortunately, their luck ran out, as in the second and third rounds they lost 1-0 to the opposing teams, including customers' Sepura, just missing out on a spot in the quarter finals.

It’s not all bad news though, as after the tournament all 25 teams joined together in high spirits for a drink and a bite to eat.

Maybe next year we can bend it like Beckham!
