Making easter special

When Walters found out about Princebuild’s mission, they wanted to help in any way they could. 

After reaching out for support across the Ethos Group, they increased the amount to over 1,000 Easter boxes. 

The vans were loaded up, and the long drive began. A journey that would take over 30 hours to complete. A journey full of mixed feelings. 

Upon arrival, and as a thank you for their efforts, 150 of the children threw the drivers a party on the Saturday evening, which included a talent contest, pizza, and doughnuts. 

One of the drivers, Mark Dale, commented, “the smile on their faces made it all worthwhile.”

Peter Billinghay, Strategic Account Director at Walters, who played a significant part in bringing this project together, said, “I can’t imagine what it must be like for children living in a war-torn country, and hopefully, these boxes will put a smile on their faces. Thanks to everyone for their support.”
